Welcome to Kefetiu!
Kefetiu is the misty, forested home of the unicorns. Generally peaceful in nature, they can become fierce when driven by need, or strength of conviction. There are two breeds of unicorn within Kefetiu - the Laeynkin, and the Kenoqkin, and each treads a seperate path. The Kenoqkin tread upon four hooves, and are recluse in the extreme. They seldom speak to any other species, and are very difficult to find in their migratory lifestyle within their forests. The Laeynkin are bipedal, and live in a spire city named Aletheiu. More information on the Laeynkin unicorns is available here. Both Laeynkin and Kenoqkin unicorns are very wise in the ways of their respective magics, which are vastly different from one another. This is not to say that every citizen of Kefetiu is possessed with magic, any more than every human on earth could be an electrician. The art of making magical structures and items is something that requires years after years of academic study under master tutors.
The Laeynkin unicorns have on occasion gotten involved in meddling in the politics of other spheres, and have discovered that it can be a dangerous business. Often, foreigners are difficult to read, and more than once they have found out only after that they intervened on the wrong side of an issue, or that they were decieved. Nevertheless, they remain active politically in many spheres and maintain one of the most elaborate and extensive sphere-wide spy networks, championed by their Inquisitors. The Laeynkin unicorns are also members of the Free Core Alliance - a group of ultra tech races dedicated to ensuring that the core is accessable as a place of peace and diplomacy to all races.
